HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION VISITS (CURRENT 8TH GRADE STUDENTS)
High school counselors will deliver registration information to Shadow Ridge 8th graders on February 29th. All high schools are using an online registration process and all forms must be submitted by the high school’s deadline.
March
FEEDER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL VISITS TO SHADOW RIDGE
Incoming 6th grade students (currently in the 5th grade Cherry Drive, Glacier Peak, Riverdale and Skyview) will visit Shadow Ridge Middle School on March 8th to get information about SRMS (ie: scheduling, electives, timelines and school tour.)
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL REGISTRATION (CURRENT 5TH GRADE STUDENTS)
During the week of March 12th, school counselors will visit feeder elementary schools to talk about the structure of middle school, discuss and describe classes and allow for a Q&A session. (This is when we answer the age old question "what if I'm late to class"). We will deliver information so that students and parents can make their elective course selections online.

March 20th at 5:30 PM: Ramping Up to Be a RAM (INCOMING STUDENTS)
This event is a family and student night for incoming 6th graders.
Families will get in depth information about SRMS on this night (ie: scheduling, electives, timelines and much more!). We will also include a fun and festive tour of the school to give our youngest Rams the chance to see inside SRMS!
IN-HOUSE REGISTRATION (CURRENT 6TH AND 7TH GRADE STUDENTS)
Counselors will deliver registration information to the current 6th & 7th graders. Shadow Ridge will be using online registration for students to enter their course selections after discussing their choices and options with parents. Students must also fill out the paper electives worksheet, complete with parent signature, before returning the form to their teacher or counselor at school.

EXPLORING RAM COUNTRY (NEW INCOMING STUDENTS)
Students will tour the school, see where their classes are, practice opening their locker and meet many of their classmates. Teachers will be present in their classrooms for informal introductions. The first day of school will be Monday, August 12, 2024.
Schedules will be available through Infinite Campus in early August - Date TBD
