Oehlert Alert 10/29/24
Greetings Ramilies!
I hope you are doing well, as we gear up for the end of October and the change in weather coming this week. We have a few announcements, please read on for this week's information.
Halloween
We love the fun and creativity that Halloween brings out in our staff and students and encourage students to dress up if they would like. While we won't celebrate or have any sort of class parties, there will be a costume contest at lunch. Be sure that costumes follow these guidelines.
Snacks for Sale after School
Please consider supporting 8th grade students who are planning to attend the school trip to Washington DC this spring by sending a little extra money on Wednesdays. Students will be selling snacks just outside the main entrance after school on Wednesdays.
Election Day
The presidential election is fast approaching with in person voting happening November 5. Regardless of your personal political persuasion, we are asking students, staff and families to be respectful of any differences we may have in these polarizing times in order to ensure that Shadow Ridge is a safe place for all students.
No School 11/1
Reminder that there is no school for students on November 1. Staff will be attending professional learning around their content areas and planning and preparing for students.
