Oehlert Alert 09/11/23
We have a saying in schools that sometimes the short weeks can feel the longest. This means that sometimes the entire week's worth of stuff still happens, just across a shorter time frame. As a parent of three school aged kiddos myself, I know that last week was disjointed for them too.
Tuesday Professional Learning
I am happy to report that staff spent the day on Tuesday of last week really digging into data and thinking about how we can best support our students. We introduced a writing template that was developed by our Language Arts teachers and will be used across content areas to simplify writing for our students.
Here's a few pictures of our teachers and staff as students from our time together last week.
Please keep an eye out for an email from me later this week on our school wide fundraiser. It's pretty painless and is a great way for the school to get extra funding for things we need.
